A big congratulations to our October 2017 Committed Club. Great job everyone. This list includes the newest member of our Kettlebell Club....Marc Carbone. Marc is a resident 5am-er and actually earned his KB Club status at the end of August. Two weeks ago, after the 5am finished up class, Marc came up to Mike and told him that he thinks he made the KB Club the previous month. As unpredictable as life can be sometimes, not 5 minutes later Marc was practicing bar muscle ups and hurt his shoulder pretty bad. He had it looked at that day, he had an MRI last week (torn pec), and is scheduled for surgery tomorrow. Marc has been following CompTrain Masters programming for the past few months and was probably in the best shape of his life. It's extremely frustrating to have something like this happen, and we couldn't feel worse for Marc. However, Marc is a special guy. There are few people that we have met in the last four years that are more positive than Marc Carbone. The guy just just never gets down, always looks at the bright side, never complains, and is always smiling. He is someone that you can count on to always be a helpful and positive force in any situation. That's why when we told him we were bummed out about what happened, it didn't surprise us that he said, "Don't bum! Get this straight! Shit happens. This is little shit! I'm good, no worries.....Good news is, I should be back 90-100% in 4-6 months." That's Marc Carbone for you. He is a special dude and we will be with you all the way man. Congratulations on your commitment. You are an inspiration brother.
